The entire Program is a Two year and Four semester full time Program. For three semesters there will be four theory courses and one Lab course. The last semester will be Industrial training/Institutional project. The Lab course of semester I and semester III and one theory course each from semester II and Semester III are departmental courses.
This Program focuses on theory which is covered by the textbook readings, lectures, and on the tests. Homework assignments are an integral part of this Program.
M.Sc.-CS is a 2 year – 4 semester full time Program. Program consists of Theory course, lab course and Industrial training / Institutional Projects.
Objective
This Program will prepare students to think about programming languages analytically:
- Separate syntax from semantics
- Compare programming language designs
- Learn new languages more quickly
- Use standard vocabulary when discussing languages
- Understand basic language implementation techniques

To become eligible for M.Sc. Computer Science program candidate must have passed B.Sc. Computer Science, BCS, BCA, B.E. (Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology) from any recognized university.
Candidate who wish to apply for this program must have secured atleast 50% in bachelor’s degree.
Students can go for immediate employment or they can pursue Full time PHD which is of 3 years duration.
No entrance exam you will be admitted directly based on your qualifying examination. You must have secured at least 50% to become eligible for this program.
5 Semesters out of that 3 semesters theory and practical based last semester academic projects will be covered.
Full time is the offline program and distance learning is the online program. Full time regular courses are preferred over distance learning courses. Companies recommend full time pass out students. Distance learning is useful for working professional those who are not able to attend offline classes.
